This module features checklists, a video, and knowledge exercises about how to perform a playback assessment.

Playback assessments are like condition assessments for the recordings themselves. While you inspected and recorded if there is damage to the physical tape before, you now may want to determine if there are any issues with the audio itself and then determine how to get the best recording off it.

Playback assessments are optional, but help DiGI technicians by giving them chances to listen to the audio before working with it.
