2022-2023: Language Technology Program Training

Introduction

Note: Training pages are subject to change and be updated throughout August 2022. We appreciate your patience as we get everything ready for a fabulous September together!

This page will guide you through the Language Technology Program (LTP) training curriculum. Please go at your own pace, read through the topics of each week, and watch the past webinar recordings. If you have questions or would like clarification on any part of training content, please reach out to James (james@fpcc.ca) or Ben (ben@fpcc.ca).

Training Content

The curriculum is divided into 4 weeks, each of which has a theme, suggested articles, complementary modules, tasks, videos, and learning opportunities.

Weeks 2 and 3 relate heavily to their respective components, FirstVoices (FV) and Digitization (DiGI).

Please note: the majority of content is distributed on the sister FirstVoices Knowledge Base. The links above will take you there. You can navigate back to the DiGI Knowledge Base by switching spaces or following a DiGI content link to this site.

If you have joined a language project team after training, use this interactive walkthrough.
