Using Reports

Introduction

All members of the language team can view reports. You must be logged in as a member of a language team to view reports.

Let’s look at each report option and talk about how they could be useful for editing and adding content. When you log in navigate to the dashboard and click on Reports.

When you add content all the newest phrases and words will appear at the top. It is a good way to check that your work has been saved. This list, as well as the others, can also be modified to what you need.

Also, could be a place to check after a batch upload to see what words and phrases added, because sometimes errors occur and those words or phrases might need to be manually added by your team. Recently Modified

Useful to track any changes being made. It is especially useful if you uploaded a batch and wanted to double check what was uploaded and if all necessary information was added correctly. Also useful when, working in a team where multiple people are editing words and phrases.

No Audio

Great tool if your team needs a list of words/phrases to record. Or if you have recordings and can match them to a word or phrase on your site.

No Images

This filter shows what words/phrases have no images attached. Maybe there were no images available at the time or none that were suitable. A helpful tool we have added is a shared library with some images created by Indigenous artists and you have access to them in your dashboard shared media library. One thing to note too is the kid’s site it is more visual so, adding images to these words/phrases would be beneficial for learners. Team Content

This is a filter that shows team only content that is not visible on your site to the general public, or even members of your site. They need to be an editor, assistant or a language administrator to view them. Some teams review the words/phrases with a fluent speaker before they are shared, once reviewed and approved a language team member can change the visibility to either “members only” or “public” depending on your site. It is a great tool to view how much content you could potentially add in the future for your community.

Members Only Content

This provides a report that shows what content is visible to the members of your site. Sometimes communities need to change the visibility of certain words/phrases, either to public or to members only.
